Santa Monica native, Vio, is a Singer/Songwriter whose sound is a mix of
spicy vocals splashed with a concoction of driving dance and 8-bit grit. Vio is
no stranger to the stage: She performed in choirs from a young age, followed by
ballet, bellydance, cheerleading, orchestral recitals, theatrical productions
and comedic skits. Moving to North Carolina, Vio went into a culture shock that
would cause her to become more introspective, developing as a writer and artist.
Beginning a Graphic Design job at Sound Choice Karaoke, she was allowed to use
the karaoke studios to record vocal tracks after work or on lunch break. After
hearing her demo, guitarist, Rick Seamster, from justincase and The Ticket,
invited her to go on tour with them and sing back-up. Vio obliged, and later
teamed up to songwrite with Rick to become the Prince tribute band, Raspberry
Cream, in 2003. She was inspired by guitarist cousin Andy Abad, along with her father, to return to her California.

Don't Say That
X Train has been around for quite some time although his music had never been exposed until recently due to advancements in Internet exposure and electronic music technology. The 2nd release from X Train "Real Algorithms" on the Innertec Label is a combination of synth layers and heavey kick drums with ambient overtone on many tracks like Bio State of Ambience and Visions in Space to bringing back retro elements such as the famous "Hoover" patch from the Roland Juno 2 that was used for the 1991 release of Dominator by the German techno wizards Human Resource from the album Dominating The World. You can hear this grindy patch on 3 of his tracks, Gravity A Wave, Hoover Breakdown and From The Ground Up. Starting out in a punk band in the early eighties playing bass guitar and lead vocals the group disband in 87 where he took interest in electronic
music and started collecting
equipment such as the Roland tr 505 drum machine back when MIDI was still in its early stages and the famous Roland alpha Juno 1 and W 30 workstation and an MC500 to sequence the music just to name a few of his early collections. Today its all about DAW's to write music with.
